Ergo chair 2 had terrible arm support and the for some reason was hurting my back. I m not saying the aeron is trash because i used one crappy mesh chair but the leap is more of a known quantity. That being said i have the bar lumbar support and it really feels like i can t find the right place for it on either reversible side and always feel like it s jamming into my back a little bit. There s also the mirra but i m not sure about the hard plastic back.
I just got a used aeron a couple weeks ago and have been really enjoying it so far. A another option in the uk is this website. As the herman miller aeron chair is reclined the headrest position will require adjustment so if you recline as frequently as i do you will need to adjust the headrest which means you will be tightening the swivel screws more often. Also the headrest was so far back i could not use it to rest. I am slowly getting used to my new aeron but when lounging i can t help but miss having something to rest my head on but due to their cost 150 200 here i don t want to risk it if they don t work very well due to the chair ergonomics.
